1 July 2014 – we launched a new version of e-store reserved.com for one of the biggest Fashion Company in Europe, LPP. Week later we launched german version of the website. In the first phase we did some customer researches.
It was very helpful, to know what’s their needs and expectations. Divante was responsible for graphic design and the implementation of technology. Shop was implemented in Responsive Web Design, so it works very well on many different mobile devices.
A major challenge was the performance of the e-store. The website reserved.com is a Top10 fashion e-commerce website in terms of numbers of visitors and views in Europe. Therefore, we did a number of tests – including performance testing, security code review and optimization.
Due to the planned entry of LPP into a new market we had to keep all deadlines tidy. Divante team worked closely with the team of LPP working in SCRUM model. Part of the work was done by teams on site at the customer’s office in Gdansk.
The process and synergy effect Divante delegated an interdisciplinary team consisting of a psychologist / UX designer, graphics, 2 webmasters, 2 programmers, application architect, project manager and testers.
It’s a big value when specialists from different disciplines work together for the entire duration of the project. Design decisions are faster and more optimal. Knowledge of various aspects create synergy effect. I am glad that we could support a professional team of LPP with our knowledge and together we have achieved the objectives of the project while learning from each other.
The technology chosen for Reserved.com was e-commerce platform Magento Enterprise operating in multi-site option.
It is used for other brands of the LPP Group. Shop currently operates in Polish, English and German language versions.
