Divante with a new project for Rigips from Saint-Gobain Group
RIGIPS a drywall manufacturing company, has decided to launch an online sales channel to meet the needs of its customers and follow the modern trends. The eCommerce platform will aimed at B2B sector. The project will be implemented by Divante software house.
The new website will be based on the Open Source Magento 2, one of the most popular eCommerce systems. The platform will be equipped with many functionalities tailored to the needs of the construction industry. Particularly noteworthy is the expanded shopping cart that will calculate comprehensive final price based on the number of trade conditions and cost of transport.
eCommerce in the B2B sector has many benefits. From the perspective of the customer, the implementation significantly improves the service quality. Placing an order or obtaining information does not require telephone or e-mail contact. At any time of day, also outside of customer service department office hours, you can log in and order products, verify your credit limit, download invoices or see the current status of your shipment. From the perspective of suppliers, the sales process becomes automated. Orders placed on-line are forwarded through integration to the ERP system. Customers manage their orders directly, which helps to significantly decrease the number of mistakes. This also allows for more effective work of the customer service team on the side of the manufacturer – says Marcin Moska, B2B eCommerce Director in Divante.
The implementation was preceded by a comprehensive pre-implementation analysis, the aim of which was to determine the scope of the project, a detailed diagnosis of all the user functional requirements and expectations about the created system. Based on this information, Divante team prepared mock-ups, which will then undergo usability tests. From the side of Divante, the project will include a team consisting of IT specialists from many different fields, including analytics, project management, User and Customer Experience, website implementation and quality control.
According to the study conducted by Frost & Sullivan, by 2020 total B2B sales in the online channel will reach 6.7 trillion dollars and will represent 27% of total sales in the B2B segment.

RIGIPS is a manufacturer of plasterboard and drywall systems (partition walls, suspended ceilings, attics) with many years of experience that has operated on the Polish market since 1994. The company is a part of Saint Gobain international group that manufactures and distributes building materials.
The cooperation between Divante and RIGIPS began in April 2016. Launching the new website is scheduled for the second quarter of 2017.
This is another B2B project in Divante portfolio. Previously, the company has implemented a website for TIM SA – a distributor of electrical equipment. The site was nominated for the top prize at the prestigious competition organized by Magento, a producer and distributor of software for online stores.
